Centre PACT Grants

Program Name: Centre PACT (Philanthropic Actions Created by Teens)

Overview: A hands-on philanthropy program for high school students in Centre County. Students identify issues affecting their peers, solicit and review grant applications, fundraise, and distribute grants to local nonprofits with positive impact on youth.

    Funding History: Since 2016, Centre PACT members have raised and granted over $60,000 to local nonprofits

    Grant Amounts: Typically range from $500 to $3,000; average award is $1,400

    Eligible Projects: Ongoing or new programs, projects, and capacity-building efforts are eligible. Must support programs/projects in Centre County.

    Requirements:

  • Must comply with Centre Foundation's Nondiscrimination Policy

  • Recipients must attend Centre PACT's year-end celebration in June 2026

  • Must provide interim project update at a Centre PACT meeting in Fall 2026

  • Applications close: January 15, 2026

  • Grant finalists notified and invited to present: March 2026

  • Grant decisions communicated: End of April 2026

  • Year-end celebration (required attendance): June 2026

    2. Create an account if this is your organization's first application with Centre Foundation
    3. Login to the portal with your email and password
    4. Complete and submit your application
    5. Selected finalists will be invited to present proposals at Centre PACT's March 2026 meeting
