Mission

The mission of the grants program is to extend the Gospel mission of the Roman Catholic Church across the Diocese of Pueblo in the areas of Faith Formation, Stewardship Formation, Religious Education & Worship.

  • Salaries
  • Capital improvements or repair work on buildings
  • "Brick and mortar" projects including: painting, flooring, electrical, plumbing, roofing, or repair of structural building deficiencies

#### Steps to Apply

1. Receive Invitation Letter
- Letters of invitation are mailed to qualifying Catholic organizations in the diocese
- If you have not received an invitation letter, contact Delores Montano at 719-544-9861, ext. 1132 to obtain the password needed to access the application

2. Access the Online Application
- Application is online and password-protected
- Access at: catholicfoundationdop.org/apply-for-funding/grant-application/
- Use the password provided with your invitation letter

3. Complete Four Sections

#### Section 1: General Information
- Organization name and type (Parish/Deanery/School/Other Organization)
- Complete mailing address (Street, City, State, ZIP Code)
- Primary and alternate phone numbers
- Name and email of person completing application
- Total amount requested
- Previous funding history with Catholic Foundation (year if applicable)

#### Section 2: Project Description
- Grant Purpose Category (select one):
- Faith Formation
- Stewardship Formation
- Religious Education
- Worship
- Detailed project description
- Description of important needs the project will meet
- Specific details on how grant funds will be used
- Identification of who will be served by the project
- Approximate number of people to be served
- Identification of who will carry out the project and where
- Project timeline (start and end dates if applicable)

#### Section 3: Budget and Finance
- Budget Form: Complete itemized budget with:
- Specific description of each budget line item
- Amount requested from Catholic Foundation for each item
- Amount to be paid by applicant organization for each item
- Line item totals
- Total project budget
- Note: Use only ONE amount per line item; do NOT combine costs in the same field; FORMAT amounts in currency (e.g., $1,000)
- Upload Budget: Attach copy of budget in PDF or Excel Spreadsheet format (Max. file size: 10 MB)
- Supporting Documents: Attach purchase orders, invoices, proposals, or product specification sheets containing cost and pricing information (Accepted formats: pdf, xls, docx, doc, xlsx; Max. file size: 10 MB per file; Max. 10 files)
- Additional Funds: If additional funds will be needed to complete the project, state: (i) the additional amount needed, (ii) how it will be raised, and (iii) by what date you expect to have it raised

- Impact Assessment: Describe how the project will be affected if the Catholic Foundation is unable to fund your request in whole or in part
- Additional Considerations: Any other information you would like the Grants Committee to consider
