About the Funder

The AIDS Funding Collaborative has been the leading public/private partnership focused on the HIV effort in Cuyahoga County since 1994. The AFC has mobilized nearly $13 million for the HIV response in Cuyahoga County. The AFC is a public/private partnership with funding partners including: The Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County, The City of Cleveland, The Cleveland Foundation, Cuyahoga County, The George Gund Foundation, and Mt. Sinai Health Foundation. The Center for Community Solutions is the fiscal home of the AFC.

Mission

To strengthen the community's response to HIV/AIDS as a public-private partnership providing coordination, leadership, advocacy, and funding in Cuyahoga County. The work advances timely and equitable access to quality prevention and care—improving quality of life for those at-risk or living with HIV/AIDS in Cuyahoga County.
