Summary

The scholarships range from $3,000 to $8,000, depending on the program. Financial need is not a requirement. Overview

Traditional Nursing Scholarship Scholarships will be awarded for $8,000 for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN). Scholarships will also be awarded for those pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or enrolled in the LPN to ADN Transition Program in the amount of $3,500 and $3,000 scholarships are also available for those students pursuing a diploma in Practical Nursing leading to licensure as an LPN.  Applicants for these scholarships must be a residents of Craven, Jones, Pamlico, Carteret, or Onslow counties. Funding Three scholarships for those pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing or the Bachelor of Science program with a major in Nursing of $8,000. Four scholarships for those pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing are also available of $3,500.Two scholarships for students enrolled in the Practical Nursing program in the amount of $3,000. Financial need is not a requirement for the receipt of this scholarship.

Be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university (or enrolled in a North Carolina Board of Nursing approved program) pursuing one of the following: a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, enrolled in the LPN to ADN Transition Program leading to licensure as a Registered Nurse, or the Practical Nursing program leading to licensure as an LPN.
