Campus Based ROTC Scholarship

Overview

Campus based scholarships are offered to students who were not offered or did not apply for the National Army ROTC Scholarship. These scholarships range in length from 2 to 4 years and cover either full tuition and fees OR room and board each year (not both). Scholarship awardees also receive a book allowance of $1,200 per year and a monthly tax-free stipend.

    Selection Process

    The selection board meets twice per semester on:
  • 2nd Monday of September
  • 2nd Monday of November
  • 2nd Monday of February
  • 2nd Monday of April

Eligibility

Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria to receive scholarship consideration by the selection board.

    Entry Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen/Resident Alien
  • Age 17-31
  • Meet medical qualifications
  • Minimum ACT score of 19
  • Complete Security clearance questionnaire
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Pass Army Physical Fitness Test

2. Campus Interview: Conduct ROTC campus interview

3. Medical Evaluation: Schedule DODMERB physical

4. Enrollment: Enroll in Army ROTC

  • Minimum ACT score of 19
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Security clearance questionnaire (completed)
  • Pass Army Physical Fitness Test
  • U.S. Citizen or Resident Alien status
  • Age 17-31
