Geographic Scope: California School of Professional Psychology - San Diego (CSPP-SD)

Award Purpose: Awarded annually to CSPP-San Diego students who demonstrate exemplary performance in their scholarly pursuits
Background: Established in 2017 to honor and recognize the accomplishments of early CSPP-SD leadership including Joanne Callan (Provost), Sydney Smith (Academic Dean), and Julian Meltzoff (Director of Research), along with Steven Bucky (Professional Training) and Michael Pittenger (Student Affairs). These leaders contributed to breakthroughs in curriculum/professional development, accreditation, student support, and applied research in the 1980s.
