Cadence First-Generation Student Scholarship Grant

The Cadence First-Generation Student Scholarship aims to support first-generation college students by providing a one-time scholarship of up to $5,000. This initiative is part of Cadence's commitment to fostering diversity in the tech field and creating an inclusive environment. Eligible candidates must be enrolled full-time in a U.S. accredited institution, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and demonstrate leadership qualities and financial need. This scholarship encourages talented individuals to pursue their educational goals in technology.

Background

To further support this mission, we are offering the Cadence First-Generation Scholarship for eligible students and interns. Scholarship recipients will be selected to receive a one-time scholarship of up to $5,000 to be paid directly to the institution. Previous recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to reapply

Eligibility

Be a first-generation-in-college student (neither parent has completed a four-year college degree)Be enrolled as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college or university in a Bachelor’s (current graduating high school seniors are not eligible), Master’s, or PhD program in the United States for the upcoming academic year, pursuing one of these majors.Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0Exemplify leadership and demonstrate passion in technologyBe a U.S. Citizens, eligible noncitizens, or Dreamer per the FAFSADemonstrated financial need per the FAFSA
