With an asset base exceeding $120 million and over $100 million awarded in grants and scholarships, the Foundation acts as a philanthropic hub connecting donors to community needs and opportunities. Its mission is to collaborate with partners to put philanthropy into action—addressing the needs, rights, and interests of the people of Eastern Connecticut. Guided by values of equity, social justice, transparency, accountability, and inclusivity, CFECT focuses on four key priorities: empowering youth, advancing basic needs and rights, preserving the environment, and promoting animal welfare.
