About Us We’re about connecting people with the needs of the community. We do this by connecting individual gifts to nonprofits through grants. Our knowledge about important issues facing the Fox Valley Region is based on strong relationships with nonprofits and our unwavering pursuit of understanding our community needs. Individual gifts, when joined with others given through the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, ensure the impact lasts forever so that our community will always flourish. We are a tax-exempt, publicly supported nonprofit organization managing charitable funds — mostly permanent endowments — created by many families, businesses and organizations. These funds generate grants for the long-term benefit of the people of the Fox Valley region of Wisconsin. Business & Accounting Scholarship The anonymous donors who established this scholarship fund wanted to make an impact on student’s lives who intend to make their impact in the world of business, accounting, economics or related fields. Award Amount One $2,000 award, payable at $1,000 each for fall and spring semester for one year.

Eligibility

Graduating high school seniors or continuing college students from the Fox Valley area and will be attending a 2-year or 4-year UW institution with a minimum of 9 credits per semesterFox Valley is defined as the Community Foundation’s service area: Calumet, Outagamie, Shawano, Waupaca and Neenah-Menasha area of Winnebago countiesPursuing a degree in business, economics, or accounting Must have a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA Financial need will be considered

Ineligibility

Loss of Eligibility:Failure to enroll with a minimum of 9 credits per semester at a 2-year or 4-year UW institution with a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA and majoring in business, economics or accounting.
