Bus on Us! Grants

Program Status: Active (returned in 2022 after COVID-19 hiatus)

Geographic Scope: Freedom's Frontier National Heritage Area covering 41 counties across western Missouri and eastern Kansas (31,000 square miles)

Purpose: Assists educators and accredited public, private, or charter schools with transportation costs for field trips within the heritage area

    - Missouri-Kansas Border War and Civil War
    - Enduring civil rights disputes
