The Future of Education is Here
We will search the country for the next crop of winners in Educational Innovation, Community Engagement, Student Empowerment, and the S. Joseph Bruno Charter Leadership award-winning schools. Our Shellie-Ann Braswell “Shine Brighter” individual grant for charter school volunteers is also returning for a third year.
Our first two CoHorts of charter leaders have formed a tight-knit group of amazing leaders, who are dedicated to sharing their insights and helping other charter school leaders create a community that supports and elevates the entire charter school community.
The 3rd Annual Summit brings together past and present grant-award winners alongside amazing charter school leaders from across the nation with active, interactive sessions, dedicated networking opportunities, and an amazing time celebrating in Miami!
Community Engagement Grant Award
What We Are Looking For: Charter Schools that build strong external and internal communities
Charter Schools who maximize the role of all of its stakeholders: parents, students, staff, and the local, external community partners to provide a stronger foundation for the school and increased opportunities for students should apply for this grant.
The ideal Community Engagement IMPACT school will demonstrate a measurable, positive and sustainable impact on their surrounding community.
Who We Are Looking For:

The ideal Community Engagement IMPACT leader is a model of integrity, is generous with nurturing and developing other leaders, and who understands that great education is truly measured in the success and happiness of each student.
General Criteria:
* Impact: Are there measurable results? Is the IMPACT diverse and deep?
* Program: Is the program inclusive, effective, and focused.
* Leadership: Can the leader articulate the need and impact of the effort? Is the leader a model of integrity and commitment
* Growth: Is the program/effort sustainable? Are the future plans inspirational?
