Bruce Scholarship Fund Grant

The Bruce Scholarship Fund, established in 2010 by the Maine Community Foundation, supports Maine residents pursuing education. Applications are managed through the Adult Learner Scholarship. Short-term credential applications are accepted on a rolling basis, while long-term scholarship applications are due on June 15 and November 15.

Maine Community Foundation
The Maine Community Foundation established its first scholarship fund in 1984. Now, through the generosity of individuals, community organizations, and businesses that believe in the importance of education, the community foundation awards more than $3 million each year from nearly 700 scholarship funds.
MaineCF scholarships provide financial assistance for Maine residents attending accredited colleges, universities, technical and career schools. The funds also support students attending private high schools, camps, and experiential learning programs.
The Bruce Scholarship Fund was established via bequest in 2010 to provide scholarship assistance to Maine residents at the discretion of MaineCF’s board of directors. Currently the fund is used to support adult learners in support of the Access to Education strategic goal.
