Briggs Memorial Scholarship
Geographic Scope: Chugiak and Eagle River, Alaska
Purpose: Supports students from Chugiak and Eagle River with definite financial need pursuing higher education.
Background
Established by Glenn and Mary Lou Briggs in the early 1970s. The Briggs family had a long affiliation with Chugiak High School and provided financial assistance to graduates who would not have had the opportunity to earn a college education without support.
