Overview

Bradley Arts Mini-Grant

Status: Open annually (typically August-September)

Geographic Scope: West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) only

Focus Areas:

  • Support for project-based learning, skill development, and engaging learning experiences

  • Social, emotional and academic needs of students

  • Explicit focus on African American/Black students receives impact points

  • Projects incorporating art of African American/Black artists receive impact points
  • Eligibility:

  • Teachers, students, and community-based organizations from West Contra Costa community

  • Projects must support a classroom or school within WCCUSD

  • Charter schools not accepted at this time
  • Award Amounts:

  • Classroom grants: Up to $500

  • School-wide grants: Up to $1,000 (requires principal approval; must serve 3+ classrooms)
  • Eligible Uses:

  • Art supplies

  • Visiting artists

  • Scripts

  • Materials

  • Instruments
