Overview

Note: For ANY Grant Request over the value of $500, the grant application  MUST be submitted by the 2nd Thursday of the month. Failure to do so, unfortunately, means the Bethel Park Community Foundation board will not be able to review your request until the next meeting date. The Bethel Park Community Foundation The Bethel Park Community Foundation (the "BPCF") is a non-profit 501(c)(3) which embraces a philosophy of local philanthropy. Tax-deductible contributions made to the BPCF are applied to fund local life-quality initiatives as determined through our grant application process. Our scope embraces donors from all economic levels, from both within and beyond the boundaries of the Bethel Park community. Small Grant Requests Individuals and small groups may apply to the Foundation for small grants not to exceed $500. The Foundation will approve a limited number of small grant requests each year. Once the defined number of small grants has been approved by the trustees for a given year, no other small grant requests will be reviewed in that year.As with the traditional grant request, the Foundation will consider requests which benefit the community in at least one of the five principle areas of enrichment:Community FacilitiesOpportunities in Education for Citizens of all AgesExpanded Recreational and Leisure Time ActivitiesIncreased Exposure to the Fine and Performing ArtsCommunity Health and Safety

Ineligibility

The Bethel Park School District and the Bethel Park Municipality are excluded from using this type of grant application.Small grants will not be funded if they are for the benefit of only one person or are of limited benefit to the Bethel Park community.
