Overview

Background This award is made jointly between the family of Peter Seabrook and the British Ornamentals Association [BOA]. Peter was a founding Trustee of the David Colegrave Foundation in 1993 and one of the horticultural industries leading journalists and ambassadors. DCF was renamed the Colegrave Seabrook Foundation in honour of Peter and all his work, following his death in January 2022. BOA’s primary aim is to support the needs of growers particularly in R&D, marketing and wider sector representation. By helping ornamental plant growers to work together, the Association aims to achieve common goals enabling all growers to improve their business through technical discussions and improvements and promotions. The winner of this bursary will also benefit from complimentary student membership of the association for a year and will have the opportunity to join discussion and technical groups/visits. Award Up to £1,000 to support one or more students, their school or college. One or more awards are available per year.
