Overview

BIG Monetary Assistance Program (MAP)

Purpose: Provide financial support to Regional Councils and chapters for specific activities aligned with BIG's goals and objectives.

Eligibility:

  • Regional Councils

  • BIG Chapters

    • Funding Types:

  • Nonrefundable assistance: Up to $1,500 for regions and/or chapters

  • Refundable assistance: $1,000 - $3,000 (must be repaid in 24 months from date of funds received)

  • Combination requests: May combine both types but must not exceed $4,500 total

    • Application Timing: Requests must be submitted during the first month of the quarter prior to the quarter that funds are needed.

  • Example: Funds needed in November 2023; request due by July 31, 2023

    • Geographic Scope: National (BIG regions and chapters)

    Deadline for July-December 2024 Activities: No later than June 7, 2024
