Big Brothers/Big Sisters Green County Scholarship Grant

The Big Brothers/Big Sisters Green County Scholarship is offered by The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin to students from several high schools in the region. It supports those who have engaged with BB/BS services, emphasizing community involvement and financial need. Selection criteria focus on the applicant's years of service and the impact of BB/BS on their life, fostering a commitment to community and personal goals.

The Community Foundation is a repository for more than 700 charitable funds worth more than $50 million. We service these funds by managing the investment, encouraging and supporting additions, overseeing the disbursement of grants and scholarships, and managing the requisite government paperwork.
The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin serves communities in nine Southern Wisconsin counties: Crawford, Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Rock, Sauk, Vernon, and Walworth.
Available to students from: Albany High School, Brodhead High School, Juda High School, Monroe High School, Monticello High School, New Glarus High School

Eligibility

For students who have either been recipients of BB/BS service, or who have provided service to the organization. Selection will be based upon number of years involved, impact Big Brothers/Big Sisters has had on applicant. Student should be goal-oriented, demonstrate interest in community and school activities, and have financial need.
