Overview

The City of Bethlehem is now accepting applications for grant funding through the newly established Community Recovery Fund grant program. Nonprofit and community organizations that are helping Bethlehem residents recover from the pandemic and responding to our community’s most pressing needs are encouraged to apply. In 2022, we surveyed people to help us prioritize our community’s pandemic-recovery needs. The City of Bethlehem analyzed survey results, conducted independent research, reviewed the existing landscape of public and social services and alternative funding sources, and ultimately concluded that each of the twenty-two categories of needs included in the survey should be considered priority areas for the City of Bethlehem’s pandemic recovery efforts. The Community Recovery Fund grant program will support all of the categories of needs that do not constitute affordable housing and/or homelessness initiatives: Arts and CultureChild Care SupportClimate JusticeCommunity CenterEconomic DevelopmentEducation and Literacy ProgramsFood AssistanceHigh-Speed InternetJob TrainingMental Health and Counseling ServicesParks and RecreationPublic Communication ToolsPublic HealthSenior ServicesUtility AssistanceViolence Prevention
