BayCare Clinic Foundation Health and Wellness Grant

Mission: To promote the health and well-being of northeastern Wisconsin residents.

Purpose: This grant supports community partners committed to supporting projects that improve health and wellness in the community.

Geographic Scope

• Northeastern Wisconsin residents
• Upper Peninsula of Michigan

Eligibility

• Community partners who share the BayCare Clinic Foundation's vision and mission
• Organizations with clearly outlined budgets

Funding Details

• Maximum Amount: No maximum; however, all requests must be supported by a clearly outlined budget
• Recurrence: Applications accepted year-round and reviewed quarterly
• Important Timeline Note: Applications submitted after October 1 may not be considered for funding within the same calendar year

What the Foundation Does NOT Fund

• Endowments or debt reductions
• Political campaigns or lobbying efforts
• Activities that have already occurred or expenses already incurred
• Hiring new staff or operational activity requiring ongoing revenue for program sustainability
• Routine business expenses including:
  • Salaries and wages
  • Marketing and fundraising costs
  • Rent and utilities
  • Repairs and maintenance
• Unrestricted gifts to foundations (all funds must be designated for specific programs or projects)

Application Flexibility

• Each application may address one or more causes
• Multiple applications are permitted
• Requests falling within both Health and Wellness and Mental Health categories can be submitted under either application

4. Submit Your Application
   • Applications are accepted year-round
   • Submit before October 1 to ensure consideration for funding within the same calendar year
   • Applications submitted after October 1 may not be considered for funding within the same calendar year
5. Review Timeline
   • Applications are reviewed quarterly
   • Review timeline depends on submission date
   • Expect notification via email within 90 days of submission
