Overview

NOTE: Preliminary applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with deadlines correlating to Foundation board meetings held twice each year. Once a preliminary application is submitted online, organizations can expect to hear a response regarding the status of their application within three (3) weeks and may receive a request for submission of a full proposal and supplemental materials. Background The Mission of Bader Philanthropies is to help people and honor the legacy of our founders. We strive to accomplish this with grants and program related investments and by convening partners, engaging with community and developing leaders. The Foundation shares the values of Dignity, Compassion, Humility, Integrity and Service. We strive to practice Cultural Intentionality ,Embedded Philanthropy, Continuous Improvement, and Good Governance. Bader Philanthropies supports the State of Israel and its right to exist. We oppose hate, racism, antisemitism and discrimination in any form and towards any population. The Foundation through its grantmaking supports organizations of all sizes and budgets and at various stages in their transformation who are committed to serving the needs of our communities. The Foundation is equally committed to convening – offering a state-of-the-art facility and environment that brings people from all walks of life to share diverse perspectives on issues of social concern often sparking solutions that lead to meaningful change. Youth Development Childhood experiences can have a tremendous, lifelong impact on one’s health and quality of life. To reach their full potential, youth need safe, stable, nurturing relationships and environments. Bader Philanthropies supports organizations that serve as catalysts for change and healing in the lives of youth by addressing their most basic needs. Our partners are committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of young people; offering out-of-school and summer opportunities to stretch the physical and creative limits of our city’s youth; and preparing students to succeed as they make the transition into adulthood.
