Summary
Bader Philanthropies' Community Matters Grant Programs focus on enhancing community engagement and support in Milwaukee. They provide funding to tax-exempt organizations and government entities that address critical human needs through innovative strategies. The program emphasizes grassroots initiatives and metrics like individuals served and mindset changes to measure success. Preliminary applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with deadlines aligned to biannual board meetings, ensuring timely responses to applicants.Overview
NOTE: Preliminary applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with deadlines correlating to Foundation board meetings held twice each year. Once a preliminary application is submitted online, organizations can expect to hear a response regarding the status of their application within three (3) weeks and may receive a request for submission of a full proposal and supplemental materials. A strong community needs to provide opportunities for individuals to gather, learn, and share. Just as importantly, it needs dedicated, creative people to drive those efforts and ensure they serve a vital purpose. For more than 25 years, Bader Philanthropies has worked to make Milwaukee a better place to live for all residents. Our partners are committed to addressing our communities’ most critical human needs – offering comfort when unforeseeable circumstances transpire; or giving voice to emerging issues. They are connected at the grassroots level and know exactly how to move from talk to action. Our current Community Matters strategies include: Pressing Issues; The Outward Mindset. Here are some examples of the metrics we use to measure success in Community Matters: Individuals served;Material resources donated;Mindset change.Eligibility
