Bader Philanthropies' Community Matters Grant Programs focus on enhancing community engagement and support in Milwaukee. Preliminary applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with deadlines aligned to biannual board meetings, ensuring timely responses to applicants.

NOTE: Preliminary applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with deadlines correlating to Foundation board meetings held twice each year. Once a preliminary application is submitted online, organizations can expect to hear a response regarding the status of their application within three (3) weeks and may receive a request for submission of a full proposal and supplemental materials.
A strong community needs to provide opportunities for individuals to gather, learn, and share. Just as importantly, it needs dedicated, creative people to drive those efforts and ensure they serve a vital purpose. For more than 25 years, Bader Philanthropies has worked to make Milwaukee a better place to live for all residents.

Eligibility

Grants are given only to U.S. organizations that are tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or to government entities.

Ineligibility

We cannot provide direct support to individuals, including individual scholarships.
