AWG Maria Luisa Crawford Field Camp Scholarship This program encourages promising young women who pursue geoscience careers through attendance at field camp. Two $750 scholarships are awarded annually through a competitive process. Funding In addition to the $750 to help offset field camp expenses, recipients of a Crawford Scholarship also receive a complimentary membership in the AWG. Each trip will be in a different location and focus on different aspects of geoscience particular to that locality. You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. The applicant must be: a full-time student who is pursuing an undergraduate degree in geosciences (geology, geophysics, geochemistry, hydrology, meteorology, physical oceanography, planetary geology, or earth science education) at an accredited college or university.Must be an advanced-level undergraduate student with a GPA of 3.0 or better.To be eligible for a scholarship, a student must attend a field course in geosciences that is at least a total of three weeks in duration (it is not necessary that these be consecutive) and that engages the student primarily in fieldwork, rather than classroom work.
