• Gender: Woman
• Faculty Status: Must have had a faculty role at Pepperdine University
• Tenure: Must have been employed by the University for 10 or more years
• Qualification: Must be a role model for academic leaders

Nominations sought for women demonstrating leadership in:

• Administration at University, school, and division levels
• Offices in professional organizations and academic societies
• Leadership in civic and service organizations
• Leadership in scholarship
• Leadership in teaching
• Leadership in university service

Selection Process

1. Selection Committee: Seaver College Committee for Women Faculty (on behalf of Provost)
2. Call for Nominations: Sent out each fall to entire University
3. Review Period: Committee reviews nominations and supporting materials in winter
4. Announcement: Winner announced in early spring
5. Recognition: Awardee honored at annual Women in Leadership Banquet each spring
