ATS/Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia (ACDMPV) Research Grant 1 grant available$50,000 per year for 2 years Target Audience The target group for the research grant will be investigators at any stage of their academic career interested in ACDMPV research. The focus of this research grant is proposals that advance research in the area of alveolar capillary dysplasia with misalignment of the pulmonary veins (ACDMPV). Proposals may be basic, translational, or clinical science research projects. Procedures or proposed therapeutic trials may be new, based on recent biochemical or pharmacological evidence, or in preliminary stages of clinical investigation. Co-funded by the ACDA and The David Ashwell Foundation.Eligibility

Applicants or at least one of the key personnel must be an ATS member at the time of applicationThe principal investigator must be a full ATS member at the time the grant is awardedApplicants must have completed their primary research training (PhD or sub-specialty fellowship) by September 1, 2024Applicants must have a firm commitment from their home institution for a faculty position by the time the award is disbursed (May 2025)Applicants must not have received 2 ATS Research Program grants or be a current ATS Research Program Awardee Applicants who are not US citizens but are currently based in the US must hold a Visa that spans the project period of the grantWe do accept submissions by international and domestic applicants unless otherwise specified. You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member. Applicants or at least one of the key personnel must be an ATS member at the time of application.
