Program Description

ASPN offers the opportunity for donors to establish named trainee travel awards that provide travel grants to trainees attending important educational venues related to pediatric nephrology. Awards can be established in the donor's name or in honor of someone they wish to commemorate.

  • Three Year Award: $3,000 total ($1,000/year)
  • Five Year Award: $5,000 total ($1,000/year)

  • Named Travel Awards prominently featured in ASPN publications
  • Trainees encouraged to acknowledge award in their CV
  • Donors invited to meet and mentor award recipients if desired

How to Apply

Application Process - For Donors

1. Award Establishment:
- Complete ASPN Named Travel Award Donor Form
- Specify award name for publication (examples: "The Smith Family Travel Award"; "The John C. Smith Travel Award")

2. Award Selection:
- Choose between Three Year Award ($3,000) or Five Year Award ($5,000)

3. Payment Options:
- Pay in full at time of establishment
- Pay in annual installments ($1,000/year)
- Credit card or check accepted

4. Payment Methods:
