Program Description

This program aims to support individuals pursuing a career in nephrology while alleviating the burden of student loan debt. In its fourth year, the program prioritizes candidates who have experienced personal or family hardships, increasing their need for financial assistance.

Award Structure: Up to six candidates selected annually, each receiving $50,000 in support toward eligible student loans over three years

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Hold an MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree
• Be an Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Med-Peds resident OR recent graduate applying to a nephrology fellowship
• Applying to a nephrology or pediatric nephrology fellowship
• Provide proof of matching into an accredited nephrology fellowship starting in 2025
• Have at least $50,000 in eligible student loan debt
