ASCFG Research Foundation Grant

The ASCFG Research Foundation Grant, offered by the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers, aims to support innovative research projects that benefit specialty cut flower growers. The program, open to academia, government, and industry researchers, will distribute up to $30,000 in grants in 2026. Proposed research should last one year or less and can include multi-year projects. About the The ASCFG Research Foundation
The ASCFG Research Foundation was formed in 2004 as a 501(c)(3) organization. This non-profit and tax-exempt status allows the Research Foundation to apply for grants and to raise money for larger research projects that would be conducted by universities. The Research Foundation is currently funded solely by ASCFG member donations and the Research Auction held most years at the ASCFG National Conference.
TThe ASCFG Research Foundation is pleased to announce the continuation of its Competitive Research Grant program. In 2026 the fund will provide one or more grants totaling $30,000. The competition is open to academic, governmental, and industry researchers.
Proposed work to be funded by the ASCFG‐RF should be for one year or less in duration, but can be part of a multi‐year project.
Recipients should be prepared to present results from the research project at the ASCFG National Conference or other ASCFG meeting. Results of the grant should benefit specialty cut flower growers. Any topic for research will be considered.

Eligibility

The ASCFG Research Foundation supports a competitive grant program open to industry researchers, universities, governmental agencies, and other tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organizations.

Ineligibility

No overhead costs will be funded.
