ArtsWave Young Professionals (YP) Grants

Grants supporting innovative projects that transform how the next generation experiences Greater Cincinnati's cultural scene. These grants are designed to engage young professionals and create meaningful connections to the arts and to one another.

Geographic Scope: Greater Cincinnati region (Ohio and Northern Kentucky)

Focus Areas:

• Programs that engage young professionals (approximately 20-40 age group)
• Creative collaboration and co-creation opportunities
• Music and wellness initiatives
• Cultural exchange programming
• Projects that build community and networking among young professionals
• Innovative arts experiences that break traditional molds

Program Benefits:

• Funding for project implementation
• Opportunity to build networks with other young professionals
• Platform for creative collaboration and showcase
• Connection to arts community

Examples of Funded Projects:

• Creative Labs with local Black artists (Generation NOW and Black Art Speaks)
• "Remix 2026" - rock band formation program for young adults (Girls Rock Cincinnati)
• Music wellness and cultural exchange programs (Cincinnati Music & Wellness Coalition)

2026 Cohort: 12 projects approved for funding

Funding Source: Funded in part by contributions of ArtsWave YP members to the annual Community Campaign (10% of YP member gifts allocated)

Application Process

1. Visit artswave.org/ypgrants to view current projects and access application information
2. Develop innovative project proposal targeting young professionals
3. Describe how project creates meaningful connections and community
4. Detail the creative experience and networking opportunities provided
5. Submit through ArtsWave application portal
