Arts Alive Community Night

Program Type: Community access program providing discounted/free theatre tickets

Focus: Provides theatre access to underserved community groups including at-risk youth, BIPOC communities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, socioeconomically disadvantaged populations, and people with disabilities

Geographic Scope: Sacramento, California area

Eligibility:

  • Non-profit organizations

  • Educational organizations

  • Title 1 schools

  • Community service organizations

  • Community groups serving specific populations (at-risk youth, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, socioeconomically disadvantaged, people with disabilities, etc.)

  • Both new and returning participants welcome

  • JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (March 12)

  • Disney's FROZEN (June 18) – No Longer Available

  • YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (July 9)

  • HAIRSPRAY (August 20)

  • COME FROM AWAY (September 10)
  • Special Accommodations:

  • American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation available upon request

  • Audio Description and Open Captioning available (through Arts Alive program)

  • One adult required for every five children/teens

  • Children under 4 years of age not permitted in theatre

    - ASL interpretation needed? (Yes/No)
    - Audio Description or Open Captioning needed? (refer to Arts Alive program)

    5. Show Selection
    - First choice show preference
    - Second choice show preference (if first not available)
    - Third choice show preference (if first two not available)

    6. Ticket Request
    - Requested ticket quantity (5-75 participants)
    - Note: One adult required for every five children/teens
