Arthur Jordan Foundation Grant Historically, the Foundation has supported organizations in the fields of fine arts, higher education and community service. The Arthur Jordan Foundation offers four types of grants Most are in the $5,000-$15,000 range. Operating support: Unrestricted grants for any organizational expense. Program support: Grants for a regular program or start-up program. Capital support: Grants for buildings or durable equipment. Special Project support: Grants for a one-time, non-recurring event or activity (Use Program Support for recurring events or activities.) Arthur Jordan Foundation Interest Areas These are based on the original intentions of our founder, Arthur Jordan. Arts: Organizations and programs with a particular emphasis on music.Education: Community-based programs that support learning and educational attainment.Human Services: Strengthen community through direct service to individuals and families, especially in meeting basic needs.Vitality of Indianapolis: Organizations and programs that support Indianapolis as a thriving, vibrant and welcoming community.
