Arnold J. Lehman Award Grant

The Arnold J. Lehman Award, established in 1961 by the Society of Toxicology, honors individuals for significant contributions to risk assessment and chemical regulation. This prestigious award acknowledges achievements in applying scientific principles to regulatory processes and recognizes research that has shaped regulations. Recipients receive a plaque at the SOT Annual Meeting Awards Ceremony, along with a cash stipend. Preference is given to nominees who have not received other SOT awards in the last two years.

The Arnold J. Lehman Award is presented to recognize an individual who has made a major contribution to risk assessment and/or the regulation of chemical agents, including pharmaceuticals. The contribution may have resulted from the application of sound scientific principles to regulation and/or from research activities that have significantly influenced the regulatory process. This award consists of a plaque that is presented at the SOT Annual Meeting Awards Ceremony and a cash stipend.
