Arkema New Horizon Scholarship

Overview: The Arkema New Horizon Scholarship Fund was established in 2007 as a result of a scholarship endowment associated with action by the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission against Elf Atochem.

Geographic Scope

Eligible Schools: Brazos County High Schools in Bryan ISD or College Station ISD school districts

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant Status: Graduating senior from a Brazos County High School (BISD or CSISD School Districts)
Financial Need: Required
Enrollment: Must attend a college or university as a full-time student (register for at least 12 hours)
Major Requirements: Must pursue a major in any of the following areas:

Award Details

Scholarship Amount: $1,000 total ($500 in Fall, $500 in Spring)

Scholarship Conditions:

Must register for at least 12 hours during Fall and Spring semesters

Must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better for the Fall semester

Payable to the student's institution of choice

Can be used for tuition, fees, books, and supplies
