    Research Categories

Grants in the amount of $50,000 will be awarded to the Best proposal in each category as determined by the AO/OF Research Grant Committee.

    Eligibility Requirements

  • Research proposals must be submitted by an AO member, faculty member, or student
  • At least one person on the research team must be an AO member
  • Research must be conducted in an academic dental institution
  • Faculty members and students are eligible

    Requirements for Grant Recipients

  • First-place grant recipients are required to present their results at the AO Annual Meeting
  • Results must be submitted as a research manuscript to The International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants (JOMI)
