By trust provisions, contributions are awarded in four major fields: Churches on the Island of Kauai (no on-going maintenance projects) Hospitals that benefit Kauai residents Health organizations which benefit the people of Kauai Educational scholarships to colleges or universities in the State of Hawaii for Kauai students Types of Grants Program: Support is provided for programs that better the lives of individuals and families on the island of Kauai. Churches, Hospitals, Health Organizations General Capital: Grants are provided for small capital projects or equipment from qualified organizations benefiting the residents of Kauai. Churches, Hospitals, Health Organizations Major Capital: Grants are provided for large capital projects or equipment with costs of $500,000 or more from qualified organizations benefiting the residents of Kauai. Churches, Hospitals, Health Organizations Tuition Aid Programs: Grants for Tuition Aid Programs are available to colleges and universities in the state of Hawaii for the benefit of Kauai students.
