Purpose

Enhance services for survivors of sexual assault through:
• Enhanced remote services
• Meeting emergent needs of survivors
• Mitigating spread and impact of COVID-19
• Building mobile advocacy programs and partnerships
• Expanding hospital and law enforcement accompaniment
• Capacity building support for nonprofit organizations
• Building strong sexual assault programs for adult survivors in underserved or unserved areas of Texas

• Total Program Funding: $9 million

Focus: Support 2 nonprofit organizations currently serving survivors in underserved areas

Goals: Help meet minimum service standards for Texas sexual assault programs and prepare organizations to apply for Sexual Assault Training Program (SATP) certification and state sexual assault funding

• Stand-alone rape crisis centers
• Culturally specific organizations
• Sexual assault programs
• Nonprofit organizations providing services to survivors in underserved/unserved areas
