Scholarships for full-time undergraduates attending accredited colleges and high school seniors demonstrating financial need.
Geographic Scope: Hawaii residents only
Eligibility:
- U.S. citizen
- Hawaii resident
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
- Must participate in one or more of the following sports with a record of accomplishments and intention to compete in college:
- Canoeing
- Surfing
- Kayaking
- Swimming
- Diving
- Water polo
- Sailing
- Volleyball
- Must demonstrate the spirit of aloha through leadership and community involvement
Award Amount: Generally $1,000 to $4,000 each (multiple one-time scholarships available)
Financial Need: Required
Additional Requirements:
- ODKF reserves the right to request further financial need documentation
- Division I, II, and III athletes should consult with their school's compliance officer regarding NCAA eligibility
Mission: To financially support the development of individuals and organizations that perpetuate the spirit and legacy of Duke Kahanamoku.
