Agriculture Sector Recovery Program (ASRP)

Overview: The Ag Labor Program is a strategic initiative aimed at revitalizing the workforce in Thurston County's agricultural sector through recruiting, developing, and subsidizing employee wages.

Geographic Scope: Thurston County, Washington

Focus Areas:

  • Crop production

  • Livestock production

  • Animal slaughtering and processing

  • Shellfish production
  • Eligibility:

  • Agricultural employers directly engaged in eligible production areas

  • Must be located in Thurston County

  • Must be a licensed Washington State business

  • Must have been established prior to February 2020
  • Award Amount: Up to $20,000 per producer

    Funding Source: U.S. Department of Treasury under the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds Award as provided by the American Rescue Plan Act. Grants are administered by Thurston County.
