Overview
AFSCME's Family Scholarship Program awards ten $2,000 scholarships each year to graduating high school seniors whose parent, legal guardian, or financially responsible grandparent is a full dues-paying AFSCME member; each award renews at $2,000/year for up to four years ($8,000 max) while the student remains full-time. Return the complete application with documentation postmarked by December 31. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior with an AFSCME-member parent/guardian/grandparent, enrolling full-time at a four-year (or transferable two-year) institution.
