Overview: In honor of former AFSCME President Jerry McEntee, this one-time $5,000 scholarship is awarded annually to an AFSCME member for use towards higher education.

    This scholarship honors the legacy of former AFSCME President Gerald W. McEntee and his commitment to union activism and worker advocacy.

    2. In the application, answer "yes" to "Are you an AFSCME member"
    3. AFSCME members will be asked to write an additional essay about their commitment to the work led by President McEntee
