AFMA Education Foundation Scholarships - Employee
Organization: Arizona Food Marketing Alliance (AFMA) Education Foundation
Geographic Scope: Arizona
Purpose: Support education and training for AFMA member company employees.
- Current employee of an AFMA member company with at least one year of service
- Must reside in the state of Arizona
- Plan to obtain a college degree
- Carry a minimum of 9 credit hours per semester
Eligibility
- Scholarships range from $500 to $5,000
- $5,000 scholarships are funded by member companies and include Legacy Scholarships (Wayne & Sharon Manning, Jim Hensley, Louise & Jim Bob Moffett, Arizona Lottery)
- Funds can be used for tuition, fees, and textbooks
- Scholarships are renewable annually - recipients must reapply each year
- May attend accredited community college, college, or university located in Arizona
- Incoming freshmen are eligible

- At least one letter of recommendation (dated within the last two years; nothing prior to 2024 accepted)
- Headshot color photo (will be used for promotional purposes including the Arizona Food and Beverage Industry Journal, social media, and website)
3. Application Review
- Applications are scored by a panel of impartial judges
- Scholarships awarded based on scores and Scholarship Review Committee decisions
- Awards based on fundraising levels from the prior year

5. Reapplication
- Recipients must reapply each school year for renewal
