Mission Since our founding by the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council in 1979, the Community Foundation of Sarasota County has been making the important connection between individuals’ personal memories, passions and dreams, and the fulfillment of their charitable goals. By actively listening to the desires of our donors, we help create permanent charitable funds that ensure people of vision have an enduring impact on our community and the causes they hold dear. Scholarships for Students 24 Years of Age or Older Connecting students to meaningful scholarship opportunities and a lifetime of possibilities. Adult Full-Year Scholarship The Community Foundation of Sarasota County believes an investment in education is an investment in our community's future. And we believe that all who wish to further their education and increase future potential far success should have an opportunity to take advantage of the opportunities available to them. That's why we are proud to offer our Adult Scholarship Application for students 24 years of age and older who are residents of Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto Counties. This scholarship application has scholarship opportunities for a variety of post-secondary education opportunities including Professional Certification, Technical, Vocational, Trade, Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate. Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. This application is only available to students who:  Are residents of Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, or DeSoto Counties for 1 year or longer  Will be 24 years of age or older as of December 31, 2025.
