Overview:
The Pallas Foundation created a new scholarship program for students participating in Morgan State University's Center for Equitable AI & Machine Learning Systems (CEAMLS) to foster the development of emerging leaders at the center of responsible and sustainable artificial intelligence.

Eligibility:

Students participating in MSU's Center for Equitable AI & Machine Learning Systems

Priority participation from Summer AI Research Institute participants

Selection based on paper submission: "What equitable AI means to national security and defense"

Two scholarships awarded annually

Award Details:

Annual Recipients: 2 students per year

Benefits: Scholarship funds plus invitation to leadership development events coordinated by the Pallas Foundation

Named After: Admiral Mike Mullen, 17th Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff (2007-2011) and 28th Chief of Naval Operations (2005-2007)

Mission: The Pallas Foundation aims to foster the education and professional development of emerging leaders from underrepresented groups in global and national security.
