    The Pallas Foundation created a new scholarship program for students participating in Morgan State University's Center for Equitable AI & Machine Learning Systems (CEAMLS) to foster the development of emerging leaders at the center of responsible and sustainable artificial intelligence.

  • Students participating in MSU's Center for Equitable AI & Machine Learning Systems

  • Priority participation from Summer AI Research Institute participants

  • Selection based on paper submission: "What equitable AI means to national security and defense"

  • Two scholarships awarded annually
  • Award Details:

  • Annual Recipients: 2 students per year

  • Benefits: Scholarship funds plus invitation to leadership development events coordinated by the Pallas Foundation
  • Named After: Admiral Mike Mullen, 17th Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff (2007-2011) and 28th Chief of Naval Operations (2005-2007)
