Overview:
The Pallas Foundation created a new scholarship program in homeland security for students of Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) to foster the development of emerging leaders in global and national security, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds.

Eligibility:

Students pursuing degrees in Homeland Security Management, Homeland Security Management – Transportation and Border Security, or Homeland Security Management – Intelligence Analytics

Priority given to underrepresented groups

Two scholarships awarded annually

Award Details:

Annual Recipients: 2 students per year

Benefits: Scholarship funds plus invitation to leadership development events coordinated by the Pallas Foundation

Named After: Admiral Mike Mullen, 17th Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff (2007-2011) and 28th Chief of Naval Operations (2005-2007), known for mentoring and promoting officers from diverse backgrounds

About AACC: Fully accredited, public two-year institution serving approximately 40,000 students annually; named the number one community college in the country in 2021 by Academic Influence
