Who We Are The Unitarian Universalist Funding Program (UUFP) is a denominational grantmaking program of the Unitarian Universalist Association. Inspired by the richness and diversity of our liberal religious tradition, the mission of the UUFP is to promote the influence of Unitarian Universalist principles through grantmaking. Grants are made that: Support the work of social justice. Strengthen Unitarian Universalist institutions. Transform gratitude for being into the generosity of living. Make Unitarian Universalism more visible in the world. Fund for UU Social Responsibility Makes grants to projects that increase UU involvement in social responsibility. Actions of Public Witness Grants The Fund for UU Social Responsibility has matching grants available of up to $1,500 to Unitarian Universalist congregations participating in actions of public witness. APW matching grants support UU congregations mobilizing at critical times to take action in a broad range of arenas of social and environmental justice. These grants are available on a rolling basis and are for projects where the urgency of the action required is outside the ordinary time constraints of our regular grants. Actions of Public Witness are generally expected to be of short duration and of an unforeseen or urgent nature.Eligibility
