Act Six College Scholarship Program

A full-need, full-tuition college scholarship program for high school students in Urban Ventures' service area in South Minneapolis.

Award Amount: Full-need, full-tuition scholarships to partner colleges and universities

Geographic Scope: South Minneapolis, Minnesota

Focus Areas:

• Providing access to higher education for low-income students
• Leadership development
• Academic support through college career

Eligibility:

• High school students from Urban Ventures' neighborhood service area
• Selected through competitive application process (hundreds of applicants)
• Approximately 40-50+ scholars selected annually

• Bethany Lutheran College
• Bethel University
• Concordia College
• North Central University
• University of Northwestern - St. Paul

• Full tuition and need-based financial aid
• Leadership development training
• Academic support throughout college career
• Mentorship and guidance as part of Urban Ventures' cradle-to-career pipeline
• Outdoor wilderness experiences (Urban Ventures Outdoors program)
