AASP–The Palynological Society AASP–The Palynological Society (AASP-TPS) promotes the science of palynology. Amongst numerous applications, Palynology is used in forensics, honey analysis, climate research, and conservation management. It is important for the energy industry and can play a crucial role in the energy transition (e.g. carbon capture and storage). Student Research Award Through the Student Research Award the Palynological Society supports research in palynology. There will be two awards of $3000 (US) each, for research in any area of palynology. The money can only be used for costs directly connected to carrying out research, e.g. fieldwork & laboratory expenses (not for travel expenses to attend a meeting, but check out the Student Travel Award).
