Our Mission To Uplift the Lives of Latino Youth through Food Aarón Sánchez Scholarship Aarón Sánchez Scholarship provides young Latinos with resources to attend culinary arts school, allowing them to pursue their dreams of becoming leaders in the culinary industry. Since 2016, the Aarón Sánchez Scholarship has been empowering Latino youth through culinary education, mentorship, and industry experience with the goal of diversifying kitchen leadership for future generations. To date, the program has awarded 25 culinary arts scholarships valued at $1.6 million! Funding You must be pursuing a career in culinary arts to be eligible for this award. Recipients of this award will receive a full tuition award to attend the New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI) for their Culinary Arts Certificate Program. Transportation, room and board, and a monthly $250 grocery stipend are also covered by the program.
