Eligibility

However, additional coinvestigators can be added to the application.Comparative, Prospective or Random Studies on:ACL repair and ACL augmentation Osteoarthritis after ACL injury and surgery Psychological readiness to return to sport Sleep disturbance and musculoskeletal pathology Hip FAI Outcomes and Predicators of Outcome Hip capsular management Shoulder bone loss managementResearch technicians and research assistants will be considered during the grant funding year as a part of the requested award amount.The AANA Research Committee will consider travel expenses for participants in a study during grant reviews (e.g., study participants with disabilities who require ride-sharing services or bus fair to reach a site). Grants are funded one year at a time.Resubmission is required for continuing research.

Ineligibility

Grant funds cannot be used for indirect costs or administrative fees (including salaries). The exception to this rule is research assistant wages, which will be considered and approved or declined on a case-by-case basis.Travel expenses for the principal investigator (PI) and supporting staff will not be considered.
