Application Process

1. Download Required Documents:
- AAIDF Grant Guidelines Tool (mandatory before applying)
- AAIDF Grants Budget Disclosure and Proposal Form

2. Complete Online Application:
- Submit application through the AAIDF Research Grants Application Portal
- Complete all required fields in the online system
- Include project description, objectives, and methodology

3. Budget Submission:
- Complete the AAIDF Grants Budget Disclosure and Proposal Form
- Itemize all proposed expenses
- Justify budget items in relation to research plan

4. Allowable Expenses:
- Supplies
- Small equipment purchases
- Salary for technical and support personnel
- Salary for the principal investigator and/or consultants

5. Non-Allowable Expenses:
- Purchase of large pieces of equipment
- Indirect costs (administrative salaries, office supplies or equipment, laptops, general travel)
- Accounting and legal services

6. Application Timeline:
- Application Opens: March 2, 2026
- Submission Deadline: July 1, 2026

7. Submission Requirements:
- All required forms must be completed and submitted through the online portal
- Incomplete applications may not be reviewed
